10/01/10:Race 101 Scholarship driver, Trevor Edwards will have a very special design on his # 32 Rolling Thunder Modified on Oct. 2nd at Langley Speedway in Hamption, VA. 

Edwards and his sponsor, Steele Rubber Products have wrapped the car in pink filled with tribute ribbons for Cancer wareness with names
 submitted by fans of those close to them who
have been dealing with or have dealt with the disease.

Edwards is coming off a great run this past weekend at South Boston Speedway, he clinched the 2010 Rolling Thunder Modifieds Rookie of the Year Honors. Winning at Newport Speedway and coming home with 7 top 5 finishes.

The 17 year old  Lake Norman High School student currently resides in Mooresville, NC.

Career Highlights:

Won the 2011 Rolling Thunder Tour Modified Championship. Named the 2011 RACE 101 Premier Driver. Won the 2010 Rookie of the Year for the Rolling Thunder Modifieds - youngest driver to ever win a race in that series. Winning at Lonesome Pine Speedway * 2nd in points at Sportsdrome champ kart series both years ran and never finished out of the top 4 * Never finished out of top six in the IKO Mini-cup series in adult division (age 13) * Tested a camping world series truck at the age of 14 at the famous Hickory Motor Speedway * Finished and qualified 7th in street stocks at Tri-county in my first start (no practice). 2009- finished third in points for the Pro Challenge Series North Region.

About:

I love to race of course.  I have traveled with my father to various tracks with NASCAR Camping World Truck  and ARCA Series. I also play basketball and tennis. l love being on the lake in NC with my dad (Wayne Edwards) and T.J. Bell who races in the Camping World Truck Series.

In 2011 I will be racing in the RACE 101/ Howe Ent. super late model house car in the PASS series as the RACE 101 Premier Driver. I will also be racing my #32 Rolling Thunder Series modified.

Racing Goals:
This year I see myself trying to make my ARCA Series debut; and the following year run the short track program in the ARCA Series or run the full schedule of Camping World East. .
